LOVE LETTERS

Drawing its inspiration from the correspondence of the famous Schumann’s couple, “Love Letters” transcribes into music the passion animated by epistolary exchanges between Clara and Robert. The album present the great cello repertoire, Schumanns’ intimate works and 4 world premières, as well as Schumann’s cello concerto, recorded here with the Philharmonia Orchestra under R. Merlin and pianist Jean-Frédéric Neuburger.
